  • Night Watch: A Play of Suspense in Two Acts

    Night Watch:
A Play of Suspense in Two Acts

    October 2, 3, 9, 10, and 11, 2009*

    Directed by Diane Causer
    By Louise Fletcher.

Unable to sleep, Elaine Wheeler paces the living room of her Manhattan townhouse, troubled by unsettling memories and vague fears. Her husband tries to comfort her, but when he steps away for a moment Elaine screams as she sees (or believes she sees) the body of a dead man in the window across the way. The police are called, but find nothing except an empty chair. The plot moves quickly and grippingly as those involved—Elaine's old friend and house guest Blanche; the inquisitive and rather sinister man who lives next door; and the nosy German maid Helga—all contribute to the deepening suspense and mystery of the play as it draws towards a riveting and chilling climax.

  • Greater Tuna

    Greater Tuna

    January 29, 30, February 5, 6, 7, 2010*

    Directed by DC Cathro
Written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard.

Greater Tuna is the hilarious comedy about Texas' third smallest town, where the Lion's Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. The eclectic band of citizens that make up this town are portrayed by only two performers, making this satire on life in rural America even more delightful as they depict all of the inhabitants of Tuna—men, women, children and animals. You won't soon forget your visit to Tuna, the biggest little town with "Tex Appeal"!

    Chicago:
    The Musical

    July 30, 31, August 6, 7, 8, 2010*

    Directed by Susan Thornton
Book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse. Music by John Kander. Lyrics by Fred Ebb.

What becomes a legend most? For a couple of Jazz Age entertainers, it's all about fame, fortune—and murder. This Kander & Ebb classic, with Book & choreography by Bob Fosse set in prohibition-era Chicago, is a satire on corruption in the administration of criminal justice and the concept of the "celebrity criminal." Based on a 1926 play of the same name by reporter Maurine Dallas Watkins about actual criminals and crimes she had reported on, Chicago won six Tony Awards in 1997, including Best Revival – Musical.
