tHE fREDERICKTOWNE PLAYERS
This mission of the Fredericktowne Players, Inc., a nonprofit community theatre organization, is to provide opportunities for the people of Frederick County and surrounding areas to participate in and enjoy quality theatrical productions. The Fredericktowne Players emphasizes the production of shows with a broad appeal that will educate, enlighten, and entertain.
The Fredericktowne Players studio is located in the heart of down town Frederick, Maryland. Through the hard work and dedication of hundreds of volunteers, The Players stage three shows a year. We welcome one and all to become a member of The Players. FtP offers a wealth of opportunities for everyone to showcase their talents. On stage or behind the scenes, we welcome all interested parties, regardless of age, race, creed, sex, sexual orientation, color, political views or nationality.
UNIFYING PRINCIPLES:
- The Fredericktowne Players will build a sense of community through positive and enjoyable social interaction and teamwork by producing live quality theater.

The Fredericktowne Players will place a high priority on promoting volunteerism and provide opportunities for everyone in the community to become active participants in all aspects of the Players' work.

The Fredericktowne Players will encourage and provide an outlet for all levels of area talent, enabling them to perform, learn, and practice in a variety of theatrical experiences.

The Fredericktowne Players will provide learning and apprenticeship opportunities in all aspects of the theater to enhance the capability of volunteers to take leadership roles in the production of performances. In addition, the organization will enhance theater education through scholarship programs, workshops, and seminars.

The Fredericktowne Players will work to make the organization and its productions and activities accessible and affordable to all residents of the community by reaching out to include special and diverse audiences.

The Fredericktowne Players will develop the ongoing leadership for the board of directors and other positions that will work to increase the organizational and financial capacity of the Players to serve the community.

The Fredericktowne Players will work to bring about excellence and a commitment to quality in all of the organization's endeavors.

The Fredericktowne Players will be sensitive to the community and work to integrate the theatrical arts into the life of the community.
