Board of Officers

Peter Jackson, President

After a 30 year hiatus from acting Peter returned to the stage at the request of his two talented daughters that performed in 2013 Fredericktowne Players’ production of Oliver followed by All Shook Up and Harvey.  Having the magic of theater back in his life, Peter joined the FtP board to play a role in the organization’s direction and continuation of community theater.  Peter would like to share the magic of being on stage with others.  He believes that when no one is paid for their efforts, the organization is only as good as the people that lead.  Peter strives to bring savvy leadership to FtP and wants to share a vision of enjoyment for all.

After performing in Harvey through FTP she knew she wanted to be more involved and is excited to be the Director of Development.

Kirk Bowers, Artistic Director

Kirk has been active with this company since 2006 doing set and costume design for shows including Amadeus, Carousel, The Women, Oliver!, appearing in Lucky Stiff and The Music Man, and producing Little Shop of Horrors.

Technical Director - this position is currently vacant. If you are interested, please contact Peter Jackson, President.

Don Plugge, Marketing Director

Don’s oldest daughter, Danielle, left as a freshman for college last year.  The summer before her journey we wanted a father / daughter experience.  Serendipitously, The Fredericktowne Players were holding audition for "All Shock Up" and we landed in the ensemble.  This was my very first foray into acting.  He had a ball and I got the thespian bug.  Next I took on a speaking role as Judge Gaffney in Harvey and Charlie Cowell in The Music Man with his two youngest daughters.  Don joined FtP leadership to help ensure families enjoy sharing the theater experience.
